A loop round the block
There are so many fell running routes you can do here, but if you fancy a little loop round the block on minor roads then this is a nice circuit. You can see the route and map via the button below. 4.5 miles, 45 mins (depending on speed), 175m of ascent
An epic loop up Skiddaw
Walk it or why not run it! If you are feeling energetic why not run the Skiddaw round route, beginning with some country lanes before climbing up over the edge of Ullock Pike, to Carl Side and Skiddaw. You can come down via Bakestall and Birkett Edge, or take the slightly easier route round over Sale How to Skiddaw House. The follow track down from Dash Falls and back along the Cumbria Way to the campsite.
